Tank's Grill - Dayton

My scrambled eggs were a bit weird. Like they were powdered. All the other food was delicious though. A UD staple.

This place is a weekly visit for me. Altho I've heard excellent things, I can't say to the quality of their lunch and dinner menu because I can't lay off the breakfast menu. Their omelets are simply fantastic and the service is top notch. Definitely my favorite restaurant!

We went for breakfast and loved every bite. Eggs and bacon were excellent. The pancakes are big, buttery, and delicious, and the chicken waffles were also great. For the latter, I chose to get a cinnamon roll waffle, which was really good! I think I might've enjoyed the C W more with an apple cinnamon waffle, though. The mimosas were also great, and there's quite a selection of flavors to try.

The server was wonderful. Took care of everything. The kitchen was very slow. It took longer than expected. Not impressed with the grilled Ruben. The chicken wings were very good. Highly recommend the side salad with the ranch dressing. Another table changed their order to takeout. Just plan ahead if going for lunch on a work day.

Tanks is our go to for a hearty breakfast. We love the wait staff . Our favorite is to sit at the bar, so that we can be properly harassed. The food is excellent, and well priced. You won't be hungry after a visit here.After breakfast try out their awesome monster grilled cheese or a reuben with a side of fried veggies.Beverage selection is varied and also well priced. I love getting a sidecar with my coffee :)My favorite thing ... the hanging plants.Lunch great selection. Look at the turkey club!
