Cj Blacks - Davie

I've had CJ Blacks in my list for some time. I was finally in the area on a Sunday afternoon and stopped with my husband and step son. I ran into a friend who was feeding on the terrace, but it was too hot for it, so we decided on the inside. There was a band. At first it seemed too loud, but they were really good that you weren't at all and you were singing. I had to start Clam Chowder. It was dropped to the table before the waitress even finished our order- impressive! My stepson ordered to start fried pimples and they were perfectly baked and crisp. My husband had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and I had the Mona Lisa. Both portions were generous and delicious. My step son had the sushi, but was unimpressed. Both had cheesecake for dessert. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would return to try more menu items.

This is a beautiful mix of different types of food in a restaurant. The food was quite incredible and the portions are really good... especially the Brezel star, it's crazy big and huge! I had a fillet cooked medium rare, and it was super tasty and big... one of the pages I had was asparagus, steamed.... that was very good. Only two smaller handles... my food could have been warmer, and the floor pudding is kind of thin... so it made hard to sit after a bit for me. The parking lot is pretty good with a bunch of disabled spots in front of the entrance. This place is from the main strip mall...so if you follow Google maps to this location, look at State Rd. 84. Be sure.

When there was a recommendation and until the food went, it was good. The BBQ pulled pork flat bread was on point, but could use a better crust. On the Cobb Salad I was surprised that she actually reveals the shrimp completely up to her tails. Can't go wrong with truffles! The service was good both from the front to the server. The only thing to be is that the restaurant seems a little dirty.

On a Sunday afternoon for dinner. Everything was great! We ordered the Brezel after we see all the pictures online. It was definitely not disappointed. It was huge, and the taste and texture were perfect!! The only strange thing is that they actually give you Marinara sauce. I guess because it comes in a pizza box? The chicken with pesto on Ciabatta sandwich was sooo delicious!! It was also very big, and I'm glad I shared it with my husband. We also ordered some beers that were nice and cold. Service was also very good. We really enjoyed our visit and would like to try other items from the menu again.

Nice spot with great food and drinks. Plenty of seating at the 2 bars or the dining area. Atmosphere was casual and fun and the bartenders and servers were friendly. I was only here once while visiting but I would go back next time i'm in town for a drink and some tasty appetizers.
