Viewdeck Cafe - Davao

I'm sharing this review for awareness and transparency. We had lunch at this restaurant and discovered a large piece of plastic in my meatball spaghetti. The server seemed unsure of how to handle the situation and didn’t offer an apology; she simply took the plate away. However, when I contacted the duty manager and sent her a photo of the issue, she responded promptly with an apology and took steps to rectify the situation.

The food is ideal for anyone who appreciates bittersweet chocolate and sugar-free beverages. The ambiance is lovely, and the staff is incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend it if you're seeking a spot to unwind and relax in Davao—100%!

The food and decor are great, but the atmosphere feels a bit humid and warm.

The cafe is situated within the Malagos Garden Resort. The interior design is fantastic. Guests can enjoy a meal at the cafe as long as they purchase a tour package from the resort.

Cafe amidst nature. What more can you ask for? With its eclectic interior and artsy decor the “sikwate” with suman is just a perfect morning or afternoon mirienda. Tablea cake is also a must.
