Although, Taco Bell does not replace Authentic Mexican eateries, is does a great job as a fast food restaurant. Food: 1. Chicken bowl {4/5 stars, $6} Bowl with chicken, rice, beans, guacamole, cheese, and lime ranch. Decent taste and quality. Chicken was tender and juicy, rice was soft and fluffy, and lime ranch was good. Chicken was a little lite on this meal is the only downside. 2. Grilled Cheese burrito {4/5 stars, $4} Interesting concept, basically a cheese burrito with meat and melted cheese on the outside... but no cheese was melted outside. 3. Cheesy Gordita Crunch {4/5 stars, $5} taco with cheese and meat inside with a crunchy Dorito layer. Dorito was not crunchy from what I was told. Service Online Order: Fast. Was ready before time. Easy ordering process online. Overall: A fast and convenient way to get a taste of fast food Mexican without the wait or price. Other than that, not a place to frequent often in my opinion.
If you're looking to move on from Taco Bell, this is not the place to go. The Mexican pizza had a stale and unpleasant smell, forcing me to throw it away. The Grilled Nacho Fries were overly oily and lacked any grilled flavor, also ending up in the trash. The Chipotle Melt was extremely small, barely there, and emitted a foul odor. The food was disgusting and clearly not suitable for consumption. This establishment should be shut down by health inspectors. Food should never smell like garbage.
Terrible customer service. There was 1 person ahead of me in line and the manager (no name tag) tells me he cannot take my order due to him having a stressful day and was very rude. Yelled at me to order at the kiosk and not over the counter. I told him I was paying cash and he said he didn't care just to order at the kiosk. I was the only person he said this to as the people behind me didn't have to use the kiosk. Felt really discriminated he was really rude will never come back.
I attempted to order food for my children and family through the app at 6:55 PM, but my order was not accepted. While passing by the Taco Bell location near Diablo, which is the closest one to my house, I noticed that it was open so I decided to stop in. Upon entering around 7:30 PM, I saw a young Hispanic male without facial hair cleaning. He greeted me and when I asked if they were closing soon and suggested going to another location, he reassured me that they were open until 8 and I still had time. After placing my order, I overheard one of the employees in the back expressing frustration loudly. Despite this, the welcoming employee assured me that they were happy to help and apologized for his coworkers' behavior. While they quickly prepared my order, they mistakenly included hot and fire sauce instead of mild as requested. The employee with a beard angrily went to the back while on his phone, and the East Indian employee ignored me when I tried to apologize for the inconvenience. The polite and apologetic young Hispanic male without facial hair apologized for the incident, but it was clear that the location could benefit from a staff update. Coming from a background in retail and food service jobs, I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior. It is a disappointing reflection of the current state of affairs.
Manager, if your business advertises that you are open until 8pm, please do not lock your doors at 7:50pm. It is important to properly train your employees in order to avoid this misunderstanding.
