The ABSOLUTE best tamales wrapped in banana leaves. They’re moist and not greasy. Yummers isn’t a great enough definition!!!! Go grab something good to eat. Tell them LeAnn sent you. :
Despite the initial skepticism due to the prices on the menu, my daughter's desire to try the food prompted us to order #25 Antojitos, #14 Platillo de picaditas, and #2 tostadas, along with chips and salsa. The authentic Veracruz cuisine was truly delightful, with the rice, beans, picadas, tostadas, chips, and salsa being some of the best I've ever had. However, the meat in #14 was not as impressive. While the food was excellent, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The portions were quite small, especially considering that the chips and salsa are purchased separately. It would be more appropriate for the restaurant to provide a more generous serving of salsa, given that it is an accompaniment to the chips. The atmosphere of the restaurant was satisfactory, although I personally found the loud Christian music playing on the television to be somewhat disruptive. It is important to remember that not everyone shares the same religious beliefs, and it may be more considerate to provide a more neutral environment for all customers. Overall, the food at this restaurant is highly recommended, but there is room for improvement in terms of portion sizes and the choice of background music.
The food was great, a little pricey but good overall, I ordered the chicken tamales and the red salsa chilaquiles with beef steak.
The food is very delicious and with Veracruzano seasoning.
