Table 13 - Dallas

This is my alias when I need to leave a bad review, which is not very often. If the staff knew I was posting this I can’t imagine them treating us any worse. We have been dining here for years and the staff treat us like they’ve never seen us. There are two servers, in particular who could care less to wait the tables. Sometimes we get helped in a decent amount of time but generally we are left and forgot about. It’s a wonderful atmosphere, minus the smug old-timers. They sit with other tables and chat it up while totally ignoring all other tables. It’s the oddest thing. I really wish the owner would make staff changes and get rid of the bad apples. Just because they’ve been there a long time, doesn’t make them good. Food is always consistent and great. It’s a shame the service doesn’t match.

Such a romantic restaurant. I had the parmesan risotto with Sea bass -DELICIOUS. And my husband had the beef wellington, it was so buttery and delicious. Cooked perfectly. They had a singer who was singing frank sinatra songs and playing the piano. It was lovely. Not too loud and not to soft, we were able to have a conversation without having to elevate our voices. Also, regarding the pin-up art. I saw alot of reviews saying that it was a bit inappropriate. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't at all. The place is decorated lovely and the art is just a reflection of the times. It was not tacky at all. Will definitely come back.

Only one vegetarian item on menu ! Very disappointing ! More and more people are vegetarians , but no choices at this restaurant !

We were seated early/promptly for our reservation, Nolan took wonderful care of us and offered such warm service on a special night for us. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly, as well as my guest’s salmon. The musicians were on time too! We couldn’t help but to dance a bit. Beautiful atmosphere and people. I can’t wait to come back!

The food was amazing as always. The service was good but I gave it a 4 because it took the waiter longer than expected to bring out our dessert.
