Cafe Brazil - Dallas

I paid $30 for a meal (as shown in the photo), a coffee, and a side of only one pancake that cost $5. The eggs and potatoes were bland, needing salt to add any flavor – even then, the potatoes were undercooked and the bread was dry. They automatically added an 18% gratuity to the bill and included a line for an additional tip, which I didn't realize until I was already in my car. The service was subpar, with the server seeming annoyed when we asked for more water and questioned the menu before ordering. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant is a much better place now. This was my second visit, as I had left a few weeks ago due to poor service. Today, I decided to give it another chance. The pancake tacos were a great concept, but my initial order was burnt to a crisp. The replacement order was much better, but still a bit overcooked. The waiter was fantastic. Perhaps they should let me into the kitchen to oversee the preparation of the tacos. The hashbrown casserole was absolutely delicious - I even ordered a second serving! The blood orange screwdriver and mimosa were both tasty.

I had never heard of this restaurant before, but my date suggested we try it out. Upon arrival, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. It was my first time dining here, and I decided to have the Pancake Tacos with syrup for breakfast. The dish was delicious, and I savored every bite. Our waiter provided excellent service, checking on us consistently, but not overly so. I was impressed with the atmosphere, staff, and food. Despite the distance from my home, I will definitely be returning in the future.

The workers are always very friendly extremely attentive. Great menu street tacos blt’s are delicious! Coffee bar is excellent especially the bourbon pecan roast!

Loved this plane since the original decades ago in Deep Ellum. Food is good. Open long hours. Great place to hit for an eclectic feel.
