Chinarestaurant Nam Vien - Dahlenburg

We ordered a court for three people. More than enough food. 5 stars! A dish was so sharp, I almost ate everything alone. Price performance good.

Just accidentally drove us great hunger into this charming little place in the little town of Dahlenburg. Typically Chinese furnished there is a room for smokers and one for non-smoking. The friendly Opi of the family served us very courteous and friendly. Now the candle was lit on the table. The food tastes wonderful, a good choice for vegans, deliciously freshly cooked. The portions are generous, the prices are favorable. There is a liqueur of the house at the end. Here we will eat again!

When I entered the restaurant and studied the menu, I did not stumble how much the prices have been “adjusted” upwards. I ordered fried rice with chicken meat. At 11.80 euros, the price moved at the upper pain limit. That's how my expectations were. But these were seriously disappointed after a long waiting period: I was served a fairly manageable amount of the ordered meal. I immediately complained. After the older service power initially did not understand my reference in German, I had to design my request with my two hands after a sufficient amount. Again time passed in the empty restaurant. The then enriched meal did not meet my expectations, but was still reasonably acceptable. The food was fed quickly. The taste was moderate. Vegetables are available. It seemed like the cook had saved everything. When I wanted to pay to the end, a lot of time went back. It appeared to an older gentleman, apparently the owner himself, and gave me the bill that I quickly paid without delay. Finally, I was given a small glass of plum brandy. The price-performance ratio was in a striking mismatch at the expense of the guest. Therefore: no recommendation.

We had a nice evening with very delicious food and are glad that we tried this restaurant. It is true that you have to spend more time during his visit, but you taste the difference to other Chinese restaurants. We tested the best rated Chinese restaurant in Lüneburg and were more disappointed and are now happy to have found such a great restaurant right around the corner. The spring rolls (generally the mixed starter plates and the shrimps) taste really exceptionally good and the duck was very crispy. We're definitely coming back.

Eating has taken some time but waiting is worth it. Spring rolls are prepared. Soup for lunch is super spicy and delicious. Operation friendly. Our dogs were also allowed in locals.
