I've discovered the load tonight. a real old-fashioned pub. very nice.

Beautiful local village pub with a local potent end crowd that is not tied up with all the right air n pardons. has some outside space on the back (which could quickly be easily improved) and a bbq. served some of the local mad squirrel beer

Trevor and Denise have truly transformed this once neglected pub into a welcoming and vibrant spot. The atmosphere is now bright and clean, with new decorations and a cozy open fire. On Friday nights, they offer a delicious one-course meal for approximately £8, prepared on-site by local cooks. The place is always bustling, with every table full and a lively Juke Box playing great music. The prices for beer and wine are reasonable, making it a popular spot for people to unwind and have a good time. It's a refreshing change from the usual upscale bars posing as restaurants. Kudos to Trevor and Denise for their hard work and dedication.

The restaurant has a good selection of wine and beer, with friendly staff and easy parking available. The locals were also friendly, despite being a bit surprised by our group's arrival.

Our experience at this restaurant was delightful. Three families gathered here for Sunday lunch and enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes prepared by Nancy. We tried roast beef and pork, smoked salmon and egg salad, BBQ pulled pork ciabatta rolls, and various sandwiches. The children were able to play on the playground located right outside the front door, and the staff were all very pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
