This restaurant was terrible!!! The vegetable dum biryani was the worst version of dum biryani I have ever had. There was hardly any veggies included, mostly just rice. The vegetables, like the string beans, were overcooked and mushy. The paneer was hard as a rock and the potatoes were burnt. I can't believe they have a 3-star rating. The chef has left, so they no longer offer any South Indian dishes, which used to make up half of their menu. I tried calling them, but their phone system redirects you to a text message when you select option 2 to speak with someone.
This restaurant in the Bay Area serves the best Ulvacheru Biryani. It is our favorite spot for authentic Andhra style Biryani. The Paneer and Chicken Ulvacheru Biryani are particularly delicious. We recently tried their Hot and Spicy Andhra-style Goat curry and were extremely impressed.
Very bad experience, sit at table but order via app, tea comes in but we go get our cutlery and sugar, food comes in but we go get our plate and spoons, white paper on table is very slippy, lost whole restaurant experience sitting in a restaurant. Ulvacharu Panner biryani this is basmati rice with panner curry. That?s what it was not paneer biryani. Tea not on menu but when ordered tasted like powdery. Bad experience, waste of 1.5 hrs time I was thinking to spend
The food quality is good and family pack quantity is also good. Family pack dum biryani came with four chicken pieces, two of them were drumsticks. Raita and Salam were very tasty. When you buy family pack Biryanis, one appetizer, choice of the restaurant, is free. To have pot Biryanis, you have to preorder them. They only available on Fri, Sat and Sun. Biryani didn't contain much of masala. The only masala was available on the chicken. It felt like just plain basmati rice.
