Nineteen19 Grill - Cumberland Gap

Very disappointed in the way were treated Saturday evening. We drove about an hour and 15 minutes to eat here and arrived around 6:30pm and advised we had a party of 4. The hostess asked if we had a reservation and I said no. She said you have to have a reservation to eat here . I said we have eaten here many times, including Friday and Saturday night and have never had a reservation. We have never even been told we need a reservation. She said well you need a reservation . There were at least 5 empty tables at this time. I understand they may be reserved for someone who may show up, but that was a lot of empty tables.

This is our favorite place to eat in the area, food never disappoints and always very good service.

I had the wagyu cheeseburger and it was pretty spot on. Big ole burger pattie cooked medium as ordered, had a nice, mildly charred flavor, and the bun was big and burly enough to hold everything together for the duration. The fries were good, too. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere nice and cozy, and the price reasonable. Def worth the drive from Ktown, especially with a Cumberland Gap area hike thrown in.

Wonderful atmosphere with fantastic food and great staff. Absolute must try and you'll be sure to return.

The food and service from the bartender were exceptional. It's a perfect little spot to eat, relax, and enjoy yourself. The prices are just right for the quality you receive.
