The chai was plain spiceless black tea, lassi was chalky, the samosa was cheaply made with philo dough and flavorless, the garlic naan had a speck of garlic, the kashmiri rice was decent and the lamb jalfrezi was a tiny portion of over cooked tough lamb. Service was good.
Very good quality. Nice knaan, lassi and currys. But, their curries do taste almost completely identical. I got butter chicken and my girlfriend got chicken masala, and they tasted almost no different. Would prefer a place that executes these how I've normally gotten them around the world.
The tandoori chicken and butter chicken are TO DIE FOR! A little spicy, but absolute perfection! I LOVED EVERY BITE!
Normally I don’t eat Indian food when I’m travelling out of india cause mostly it’s probably not going to be good. This place however was really close to good authentic Indian food. Ate the butter chicken and the Palak paneer. Sure I can say that the chicken wasn’t well cooked or the butter chicken was missing kastoori methi, but that would be me nitpicking an otherwise perfect meal! Also the rotis are quite big, 1 roti here is the same as 2 home style rotis. And they don’t have been :
My first visit to an Indian restaurant in CDMX and I don’t need to go experiment with any other. The food is on point and so is the hospitality. Prince, thank you for consistent and exceptional service.
