Brizo - CROTONE

Recommended to me by the guys at the Termine Grosso winery, it turned out to be an excellent restaurant: young, friendly and knowledgeable staff, hot appetizers made on the spot (thank God) and a decidedly good first course: the only flaw, a long wait between appetizer and first course but, to apologize of the incident, I was given a discount. Highly recommended!!

I will not recommend this restaurant at all. First thing they did not give us any menu. Details of the menu was only gave to us verbally (without the price of course). Even if we asked for the menu, they told us they only have a « basic » menu and did not bring it to us still… The food they announced were not on a menu as it change too often… In this case they can simply put the details of the menu on a board (as they do not have many different choices). Then concerning the food, it was not bad… but really nothing particular. Also they put pistachio everywhere… it does not bring anything as it got no taste. Then they bring us pasta with a « langoustine » empty as a decoration, again I do not see the point. Wine was good though. The primi piatti we took were quite small portion compare to what we usually find in Italy, but price was still a bit higher than usual (20euros). For me this restaurant wants to have a sort of « gourmet chic » style but is far from it! I really cannot understand why it got so high rate in trip advisor…

Ho apprezzato molto il mio pranzo presso questo ristorante. Il locale è molto bello e di alta qualità, con una musica di sottofondo molto piacevole. Il servizio è stato attento e puntuale. Ho particolarmente apprezzato l'iniziativa dello chef, che nonostante la giovane età, è passato tra i tavoli per parlare con i clienti. È sempre importante metterci la faccia. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.
