Main Street Grill - Crestline

They could use some better help. one.girl was working her but off and several others were just like, don't wanna be here so why do too much. shame is they have good food and only one girl out of several people that seemed to care. wont be going back anytime soon !!

Called to order a rib dinner at 6pm on a friday night. Was told they were not taking pick up orders. When I asked why was told because of personal reasons of an employee WTH! How does a greasy spoon, that changes its hours more frequently than the sanitizing bucket, offering mediocre food at best, manage to stay open? Stop throwing good money after bad. Put the place up for sale let someone who knows what they are doing bring Crestline a sit down restaurant.

We went out for breakfast and decided to try Main Street Grill . This is a nice family style restaurant in crestline. It is nice both inside outside and is very clean . it's nicer inside than most family style restaurants that I have been in All of the menu prices looked good seemed like a good selection of breakfast foods . I ordered sausage gravy biscuits with a small side of french toast and my wife had sausage gravy biscuits with eggs and bacon. I really liked the biscuits and gravy , but my French toast was a little on the cold side but still tasted good . would have been really good if it were hot My wife also liked the biscuits sausage gravy but not quite as well as I did , and her bacon and eggs were good also . We don't go out for breakfast alot but the next time we do go this will be one of the places on our list to visit again . We are planning on trying lunch or dinner there sometime also .

I have eaten at the Main Street Grill before and the food was very good. That was not my experience recently. I had the fish sandwich (which was very good) with the home fries. That was the issue. The home fries were not cooked at the proper temperature and came out undercooked and greasy. The restaurant did make good on them and brought me curly fries at no extra charge. In addition, their lemonade is not something I would order again as it tasted like sweetened water but really had no lemon taste. Their prices were very reasonable if only all of their food had been.

Food is great. Homemade food with a quiet atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. And for those that like it.. they have liver and onions.
