The service was amazing. Food was very good. Nice romantic setting.

The decor is old and the carpets look dirty. The service was slow and on a Saturday night they were out of chicken. The food was awful and we couldn't even eat some of it. Waitress gave us the wrong bill and was rude when we told her. Overall it was awful and I would never go back.

Visited on Valentine's Day and was disappointed in many ways. This was our first time back since the restaurant was re-opened. No linen tablecloths, no pianist, no ambiance. The music was not pleasant. The service was very slow, however, our waiter apologized as did the hostess. About the food; the pasta Bolognese was not what I expected. I asked our waiter if the sauce was ground beef as I am intolerant of pork, lamb, and veal. He assured me it was beef. Apparently the meat had lamb in it and it resembled sausage. Chef's are free to be innovative with their recipes but the menu should state that so the customers are aware before they order. Having said this, my husband loved his duck and I actually thought my homemade pasta was wonderful, just not the sauce. The hostess did remove my dinner from our bill. I would have ordered something different if I had known. Despite all, we will try it again. Sometimes holidays are a good judge of a restaurant.

What a perfect spot for a nice dinner in the Poconos. Price was extremely reasonable for high end food. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. They even called my daughter on an antique phone she was playing with which made her night. I'd highly recommend and will revisit our next trip to the Poconos.
