Galliano - Cozumel

Fun decor. Nice serving staff, but not as attentive they needed to be. Forgot some of our order here and there. The alligator was chewy to the point you had to make yourself swallow it. The gumbo was pretty good. Their grits dish had a softshell crab that wasn't easily chewed, either. Overall, our group wasn't impressed. Pretty overpriced.

Menu was true New Orleans. Seafood was fresh and very well prepared. Tori, our server, knew and understood the menu to the point she was able to recommended the perfect wine. She made sure our meal was a dining experience. Great food, service and quite place to enjoy all.

Easy-to-find given the corner location though street parking, even on a weeknight, is practically nonexistent. Menu offerings are not for those with a big appetite, or a small wallet, as you are paying as much for food presentation as you are for food content. So it comes as no surprise that the entire menu is ala carte. The best pasta I've ever had! We went twice on our vacation in NOLA because it was so delicious. We got the chargrilled oysters, gumbo, Crawfish Pasta Monica, pork chop and the steak tournedos. Absolutely delicious. Will go back 100% next time we're in town!!

This is by far the best restaurant that we ate at on our vacation in New Orleans. Hands Down. I am still thinking about the pork chop and wishing I could have it again, it was the best pork chop I have ever eaten. The service was wonderful, the staff was friendly. We had a great conversation with the oyster shucker, who gave us wonderful places to see in town.
