This experience was very disappointing and has likely changed our mind about visiting this restaurant again in the future. Our server was nice but inexperienced (didn't seem to notice empty glasses, I had to ask for everything we needed, things like that, but we eventually got it and he was pleasant). Other tables seemed to be getting more attention than us. Not all menu items were available even though we were one of the first tables and the menus were just printed for that service. My childrens' meals were overpriced and terrible. It's hard to mess up chicken tenders, but they were very bland and dry. The pasta portion of my husband's dish was overly salty and his chicken parm wasn't crispy. If I'm paying that amount for chicken parm, it should be perfect and this was anything but. I was hoping for a nice fine dining experience and instead I felt ripped off and felt like we would have had a better experience at almost any other restaurant in town. I doubt we will return to this restaurant again.
It was a birthday dinner for my 20-year-old daughter. Everything was outstanding.....the food, service, and ambiance. I love this place for many reasons, but one is that it is very quiet and civilized. Excellent martini's. The waiter was extremely efficient and friendly!
The crab cake small plate was disappointing. I could not detect any crabmeat in the cake. It was more like mashed potatoes cake. It didn’t even taste like crab. And the BBQ sauce did not help. The fried spinach leaves were a nice touch. The Hopedale fish was grouper, but the filet was small and slightly over cooked . I did not detect any lump crabmeat on top. $130 for two people. The other person said the steak was good, albeit expensive. The bread was like two Pillsbury frozen rolls.
We had a lovely Easter Brunch. Food was great. I had the crab cakes yum and the buscarata(spelling) salad. Both were very good. Creme Brulee for dessert was perfect.
Been here before, enjoyed meal and atmosphere. However, this time Annadele’s was apparently not ready to accommodate individual diners. There were two parties going on and the restaurant’s attention was directed towards them. One very large party was seated in the dining room and the noise was unbearable. The food, which in the past, was excellent, was mediocre at best on this visit. The turtle soup tasted liked a burned brown roux. It was sent back. The remainder of the meal was merely okay, but not at the level we have experienced in the past. The meal itself was ruined by a lackadaisical wait staff, and noise. A large special event party should never be seated in a main dining area. It is possible that the management has changed since the last time we ate there, if so, the change was not good. A total waste of time and money.
