The Lone Fir Cafe - Cougar

Lone Fir Resort was a quiet well run resort. The rooms were very clean, comfy bed and the staff was great. The checkin as well as the restaurant were easy, smooth and tasty

Was expecting something more spartan, but was surprised by how much the resort had to offer. The kids loved the pool, the pub had good food, and the location is great for exploring. The only thing that could have been better is the weather! We'll be back.

Checked in with a GoGast Camper on my truck. Staff took issue with having a dog and not having “hard sides” on my camper. After 15 min of going back and forth with the front desk, I asked for a refund (28 min after arrival) and was told the manager would call me the next day. Manager called and said they don’t do refunds despite what their cancellation policy states. He then refused to answer emails or take my calls. Had to engage my credit card company in order to get a refund that was in-line with their published cancellation policy. Skip the hassle into staff are able to make decisions.

Loved the atmosphere. Family friendly. Cafe food and service was great. The host was very accommodating.
