Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Fort Union

Ice cream is decent but after spending $20 on 3 servings of ice cream, they wouldn't give me a cup of tap water for my dog and would only charge me for an ice cold bottle of water. Seriously? Who does that? Last time I come here. Def not a dog friendly place, won't be coming back here with the Brighton band kids after football nights.

Five stars for the ice cream (so many interesting flavors! and staff. Even when they 're busy, the young adults who work there are nice and polite. The prices are fairly reasonable. The four-scoop sampler is our favorite!However, they are intensely understaffed (so are most places though, so I get it and far too patient when grown adults try five flavors and take ten minutes to make up their mind. There 's a point when you have to say, I 'm sorry, but I 'm going to take this group 's order while you decide. I worked at an ice cream shop as a teenager, and that 's how we were trained. You can 't let one group monopolize your time when you have a line out the door and two people working.I also think they can do better at organizing a line; people who 've come in after us have ordered first multiple times.But my main issue is that there is no seating, inside or out. Ice cream doesn 't keep. If you drive home to eat it, you have a melted mess on your hands. I don 't understand why they can 't set up some tables outside and in, like every other ice cream and frozen yogurt place, so people can enjoy their ice cream? If an owner is reading this, can you explain this, please?

Best ice-cream in town. Whenever you feel like craving ice-cream, come to Handel’s. Flavors of the season and the classic ones are always a great choice. It’s open long hours and employees are awesome!
