Scuttlebutt's Seafood Grill

The staff is rude. The managers looked overwhelmed and were very snorky. The floor was dirty. Peeling and eating shrimp was great, but could have done on them without all the globs of dry spice. The wings were boiled and tasteless. The sliders were cooked and no taste. The table was sticky, the mayonnaise bottle was on the table at the ketchup and hot (that is South Texas, it should have been in the refrigerator). The beer was hot.

I went for happy hour, best deals on drinks on appetizers. It has a very good local feel, and all that I ate was great. I wanted to try the hot wing challenge but they were out. I had the fish and chips (recommended) Buffalo wings, and coconut shrimp(also recommended), and the margarita. The service was a little slow as it was post lunch I guess. We ordered sushi too, but the wait time for over an hour, so we skipped it. We finished everything that was ordered. Perfect lunch time during hot summers!!!

Ate over lunch and service/food was great. I'm no connoisseur of fresh oysters but the 1/2 dozen we got we're good. The fried pickles were homemade and amazing! Our main dishes were good and ranged from seafood to burger sliders.

The menu offers a variety of options to choose from. The coconut shrimp and crab cakes are the highlights and the sushi is also very delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and the wait staff is friendly. Definitely worth stopping by.

Rating: 5+ This restaurant has a fantastic variety of beers, delicious food, and outstanding service! What more could you want? The Ahi tuna dish was excellent!
