Maiz Cocina - Corona

Great food with an unexpected location in a strip mall in Corona. Choices like lobster enchiladas, mole, and handle guacamole. The street tacos are decent size with plenty of meat and less filler. Great selection of tequila including a few additive free choices.

I ordered the Mar y Tierra entree. It was 2 delicious steak enchiladas (rolled inside handmade corn tortillas--yum! with 2 jumbo shrimp, white rice, chips salsa, and a small cup of beans . I asked if I could order to go since I was taking a breather from the early rush hour traffic. I was amazed how quickly my order was ready! Since the tortillas are thicker, it would be nice if the enchiladas were stuffed with a little more meat. The sauce was delicious! The restaurant is quite attractive considering the space is part of a mall. It has great garden seating as well. I will definitely stop in again.
