The food was delicious and had flavors reminiscent of India, with a nice level of spiciness. The service was good and the prices were fair. The atmosphere was pleasant.

I stayed here on my back to Halifax. I looked at a couple hotels/motels in the area and decided the Anchor was a good value for the money when I took a look at the room. The staff was very helpful and they even helped me bring my bags into my room (I walk with a cane.) The bed was very comfortable and it was nice that they had free wi-fi in the rooms so I could check my email before going to bed. Overall, he room was clean and service good. I wouldn't mind stopping by here again if I was in the area. I guess they must have had an off night with the review written above! I definitely didn't experience that and hope no one else will!
