Isaacs - Cork

Returned to Isaac’s twice in last few months after several years since my last visit. Was/am delighted to see that they have stuck with the excellent and delicious standards that have always defined them: local produce, beautifully and thoughtfully prepared and presented. The menu was familiar but in no way dull; the staples of yore (black pudding salad, chowder, curries, fishcakes…etc… are as fresh and satisfying as they always were. I would happily eat everything on their menu. The service was also personable, warm and perfectly matched to the comforting but elegant meal and setting. It’s been lovely to be reminded that Isaac’s is still here and deservedly so.

Good restaurant but and the service in particular of a waitress in eta I think a little advanced little and extremist kind this person alone is worth more than the whole restaurant together

Had one of the most delicious meals I had in a very long time. the staff could not have been more friendly and the service was impeccable. I ordered the sampi to start. would be traveling alone from far away. sensational. the lamb maras for the main was so tender, such delicious bites. a fantastic wine card and a dessert menu where I wanted to order the partie! in the current economic climate it is a rare thing to get such values for money. the whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. will definitely be back at my next visit to cork!

Very nice location, very attentive and friendly staff. super fast preparation of at the same time 20 different dressings on two tables: starter, lead and dessert. others could cut a piece! very tasty eating and drinks. clean sanitary facilities. again happy
