Here for dinner. There were only a few empty tables, but half was dirty. We had to wait a while until the waitress brought the menus, then we had to call them three times to order them. The food was okay, but quite expensive for what it was. We called our waitress five times and she never came, so I had to go to the checkout to get the check. Conclusion: Don't go. You can get better service and better quality food for the same price or cheaper in other places.
My companion and I went to a late lunch, past 15:30. No problem! Place was still busy with lunch, and it was a regular working day and not even Friday. We shared an appetizer (drilled eggplants with cheese) and then we both ordered the Raviolone de Rucula (Arugula). Everything was good and plentiful. Service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is alive, a great place for people who watch while a munches.
The restaurant was packed, but we were quickly shown a table. The menu is with much to choose form . We had pasta and a chicken dish. both were taste when a bit heavy on the cheese. Before the meal, bread with soft cheese came to the snack. We asked for balsamic vinegar and olive oil instead of the soft cheese that was no problem at all. The only real negative was the service was slow and not particularly welcoming. A little cold. Overall, I would go back.
The service is very informal, kids that treat you very family style....but that can be fine, we arrived to the restaurant and they wondered if we want to eat.....sort of either we arrived to early...it was almost 8pm, or they were surprised by clients, food was so so, price was a bit high for the quality, too much informality and maybe there are other nicer restaurants nearby....I just thought this was better.
