I Heart Mac Cheese - Coral Springs

Got the combo tacoronis wasn't really impressed. Taco shells were stale and the cheese sauce was pretty bland. Thought it came with a dipper but didn't get one. Sounds like a great idea but the execution fell far short of expectations.

On 5/19/2023 this cute restaurant was a lifesaver for me, especially now that I know what to order. It was a late afternoon on a hot Friday (afternoon). I was trying to find lunch and had desperately gone to four other restaurant establishments in the N. University area that could notaccompdate me, seemingly due to lack of staff. Here I ordered an off-the Chain Standard GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH on whole wheat made w/ Cheddar Cheese. Obviously, you choose your cheese and bread type. There are many cheese varieties to choose from. Only two bread types to choose from so the bread part is relatively easy to decide. All the cheeses sound tantalizing and I plan on trying them all. This sandwich is only $8 and was on price point while being extremely tasty as I was so ravenous after being all but turned away that time of day from the likes of a popular brewery that sounds like TJ 's, an ale house, a NY style deli that sounds like 2 J 's, and a bbq joint on the main drag that time of day. I have been hearing now is Graduation Season so ... could be why. Quick service, in contrast, was what I found here at I Heart Mac 'n Cheese so I could get on with my Day that involved an evening 4 1/2 shift of volunteer work I do. Two or three things could have been better or different. Well, I couldn 't help noticing employee was playing on her smartphone upon arrival and as soon as I was handed my food Tray. That part- pardon my scroll- is fine I guess but I began to wonder whether hands get washed after touching their phone screens as I believe should be one before making sandwiches and other food here. I did not notice such handwriting taking place. Also, no doubt because the time of day, the dining room appeared disheveled with crooked chairs, hitop tables crooked, posters on hitop Stool/seat, and a few pieces of trash on floor. Also, a man I guessed to be Unhoused (homeless) came in w/ 2 non-IHeart cups w/lids and appeared to refill his outside cups w/ soda pop ... for free. I would prefer this not go on. For one, as a paying customer it is unpleasant to see others openly breaking the rules. Back to the food, the important part. My awesome grilled cheese (sandwich) came w/ a souffle cup of delicious, piping hot Tomato Soup- for dipping- along w/ some Tater Tots. I did also order pay for a soft drink (soda pop) which I enjoyed and which totally complimented my meal. I was impressed by their kindness. The place is very good!

The build your own mac bowl is so good and the girl that took my order was so nice, will definitely come back!!

This was my first visit to I Heart Mac Cheese and I am blown away. Robert was the person who helped my husband and I during our visit. He greeted us with a smile and after I told him it was my first time there he broke everything down for me. The meals we ended up getting were pretty similar with only slight differences. I ordered the Buffalo Blue Signature Bowl-removing the carrots, celery and blue cheese; Subsequently adding pepper-jack cheese, ranch and bread crumbs. My husbands order was different in the way of cheddar instead of pepper Jack and keeping celery. We both made our meals a combo-him adding pepperoni Mac bites and me getting jalapeño-cheddar Mac bites. Adding at the end a pack of the M M cookies displayed in the case. We received our food in a timely manner and enjoyed every bit of it. I personally couldn't finish my portion and had to put a cover on it to bring home. Plus side though-the bowls at IHM C are microwaveable! Robert ended up surprising my husband and I with a complimentary side of cheesecake bites-paired with caramel and strawberry dipping sauces. All together I cannot say enough amazing things about this restaurant-from the welcoming atmosphere to the service and food quality, all stellar. Cannot wait to come back!!

Excellent customer service. I was greeted instantly once I walked through the door. The staff also suggested a few things since I had never been there before. Food was hot and cooked throughly. Overall restaurant was clean and neat. You can tell the staff and ownership take pride in this restaurant. Highly recommend getting your Mac and cheese with the breadcrumbs for that extra crunch! Will definitely be back!
