Grandma's Pancake House - Cookeville

I was looking for different and found it. had the mushroom omelett with mushroom sherry gravy. maria, my waitress brought me a must and I went with this command. the omelet was definitiw different when the egg was beaten with a lot of air in it. that made the finished product quite thick. I added some hot sauce to him because I thought it was less tasteful than expected. certainly the air was thrown into it the tattoo, but honestly, with the heavy and the economical use of hot soße this was a very interesting meal. the dish was accompanied with three pancakes. they were small, but fluffy. decent taste, but with the time they get to them. I thought the sirup was a good taste, although I see some people who mention it in their reviews, I thought it was pretty good. my coffee cup never went empty. I was very happy with my waitress, maria. very attentive and timely. all said my visit here lefy I want to try more of the menu, so I will be back.

If you love breakfast in the morning or for lunch, you have to try this place. The pancakes are made with their special recipe and are out of this world light! The taste is equally good. The omelets are large and tasty as well. Orange juice is truly fresh squeezed when you order it. You get your money's worth at this establishment. I go back time and time again.

Let me start by saying the food was wonderful and the staff was friendly but I did the take out option. Reasonable priced food. I would have give this place 5 stars if I didn't find hair in my food/bag TWO different times. The first time I was still on the restaurant checking to make sure it was correct then I noticed a hair in my container of whip cream. It was not in the whip cream itself, but the hair was attached by the lid and wrapped around the container. I addressed this with the young lady, she then took the container to the back and I THOUGHT disposed of it and got me a new one. However, I seriously doubt it because when I got back to work the same container had the hair on the bottom and side of it . That is when I looked at all my stuff and found another long dark hair on my larger container. I feel like she took it to the back and simply brought me the exact same thing back. I did not catch her name , but shame on her!! I do know there were three people in the front assisting myself and others. It was gentleman, an older lady and a younger lady. The younger lady is the one that I feel was deceitful. The food that didn't have hair on it was super good, but I will probably never go back.

Oh my gosh a must go!!! The food was fabulous but best of all was the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Truly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The spinach crepe and pigs in a pancake were bop notch. The potato pancakes were awesome! Wish they had real maple syrup, but other than. The prices were cheap and portions big. Sooooo good.
