Conshy Corner Tavern - CONSHOHOCKEN

I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is fantastic, the drinks are amazing, and the hot honey wings are simply genius—LOL. I highly recommend it! Be sure to try the cheesesteak, cheeseburger, or the honey hot wings with 357 whiskey. You can thank me later!

This is what makes Tavern Rock special! It has a fantastic atmosphere, great beer, and delicious food. I'm worried that this amazing old-fashioned dive bar in Conshy might be purchased by one of the local restaurant groups and turned into something unrecognizable—just another upscale, pretentious spot with cloth napkins and high prices.

First time going after living within walking distance and there was a guy that refused to leave me alone over sports even after his girlfriend tried to calm him down (to the point where he was out of his chair coming over to yell at me) but the bouncer?s response was ?I know him, so you need to leave?. Definitely not going back to a bar that keeps their aggressive friends as regulars.

Overall, this is a nice place, with public transit options nearby. There is a bus stop literally on the corner of James and Hector, and the train station is a few blocks away. Reasonable prices. Takeout [think 6 packs and the like] beer is available in the cooler if your recreation needs to continue, or you realize you don't have any in your fridge. The only downside is that this will be crowded on certain weekends and holidays [i.e. St. Patrick's day] but it is crowded because it is a great option.

Very happy with our meal and a great bartender. Visiting relatives on our trip between New Hampshire and Florida. We felt welcomed by the bartender as well as all the great people at the bar. Would definitely come back again Conshy feels like a second home. Visited October Oct 22 2021 at 5pm
