The two standout aspects were the service - the staff is friendly and efficient - and the ambiance - with a view overlooking the river and soothing music playing. The restaurant offers both traditional tables and chairs, as well as low tables with mattresses for seating.
While dining for breakfast, you can also watch the owner washing an elephant in the river. The restaurant not only offers this unique experience, but also serves the best food. All meals, including breakfast, were delicious.
Jevi, the server at Sai Plaza, is a gem! Extremely pleasant and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great dining experience. I have visited this restaurant a few times and the food is consistently good. However, the standout dish for me was the Navratan Korma, a curry with pineapple and watermelon that may sound unusual but tastes fantastic! Be sure to give it a try. Keep in mind that they may only have one chef, so for large groups in a hurry, be prepared for a longer wait time. During my visit with a group of six, each person ordered a different dish and it took about an hour to receive all our meals. Fortunately, we were entertained by a live performance, which helped pass the time quickly.
We had a short but great time in Hampi and this restaurant was part of it. We came twice and enjoyed a wide selection of dishes there. We usually had Indian dishes cooked for perfection. You have a beautiful location with an even more beautiful view. A place you need to visit. I can only recommend!
We came here for a movie night and both ordered the special veggie thali. It was delicious!! We came back again another night just for the thali. It comes with dhal palak, veggie curry, and a paneer dish so much good food to keep you nice and full. I believe it was 140rp each. The ambiance at this place is great, very relaxed. Great views of the river too.
