Le Cafe des Quais - Condé-en-Normandie

This was the third time we've eaten at le Cafe des Quais and, as usual, we were delighted. A warm welcome, excellent service and wonderful food, all at a very reasonable price. This delightful brasserie has become a regular fixture for our trips to Normandy!

A simple, unpretentious café/brasserie with a screened outside terrace overlooking the market square and river. It was full soon after midday on a Wednesday lunchtime with quite a few regular office worker clientele forced to sit on the terrace. The simple menu with formules and a carte including a selection of salads offered good value at 11.90 for 2 courses. The plat du jour that I had was a very tasty apple black pudding encased in a crisp pancake crust which was served with salad sautéed potatoes. Well worth a visit if you are in the town and probably worth reserving to be sure of a table.

This cafe, which is located in the centre of Conde sur Noireau, has a very pleasant atmosphere and the food was of the highest quality. The service was really good and very efficient. It was quite busy on the evening we booked but that did not slow down the service. My only minor criticism was that our food was served on a wooden board. I know this may be very British but I do like china. This did not detract from the wonderful food.

Qualité prix pour le menu à 15 euro très raisonnable. De très bonne qualité. Repas copieux. Cadre chaleureux. Personnel à cueillent et agréable. Restaurants qui vaut le détour. Menu à la carte un peu plus chère mais reste très correct. Arrêtez vous ... C est une bonne affaire.

Nous avons bien manger. Des produits simples mais de qualités avec un prix raisonnable. atmosphère moderne et propre des lieux. La patronne et l'employée très sympa.
