My burgers was overcooked. I watched multiple tables send food back. The dinner menu looks good, but the kitchen and front need some help. The ambiance is amazing.Parking: Great valet
Doesn't live up to the billing. Server was great but ambience and food were lacking energy, creativity, and finesse.
Where do I start? The food is amazing! The staff was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I was able to order the orange zest pancakes and they were delicious. I could have just eaten that. Our server recommended lobster benedict and Im so glad I did. The lobster salad was a great compliment to the dish. They did not skimp on the lobster. The egg was perfectly poached and the bearnaise was delicious and was not broken. I ate the bearnaise with my potatoes. I would definitely come back and try dinner!
To begin, they had a 3:45 reservation on Open Table when the kitchen closed at 3. This is particularly annoying as is also called after Open Table sent a confirmation for 3. Brandon, our server, was very attentive and kind but somewhat inexperienced. Food uneven and way overpriced. Beef tatars mediocre, beet salad okay but over salted. Lamb entree excellent, but cow Au vin was put together with components that were cooked separately. Overall, not the best Mother's Day experience!
Let me start by saying the 1 star is only because our entire meal was comped after speaking with the manager. It frankly doesn't make up for the terrible experience that we had on Mothers' Day.We had a reservation and were seated on the back patio as there was not availability inside. After being seated, we waited 20-30 minutes and finally had to ask for a server before we were seen by anyone. The lobster Benedict was out which was very disappointing for my boyfriend, but he went with the duck frittata and French toast instead. I ordered the chicken biscuit because it came with Adele's potatoes which I wanted to try and I had smelled some fried chicken when we walked in that smelled really great. Since we were quite hungry after waiting so long to be served, we asked if we could do the French toast as an appetizer, but they were not able to do that. Our drinks came out quite a long time after ordering and both the **** Mary and the white sangria were bland and disappointing. The food came soon after that and was also subpar. The frittata and French toast were both lacking the usual fluffiness that one would expect. The biscuit, chicken, duck and egg were all dry. The French toast was not plated as you would expect in a restaurant and looked more like something I would cook in my own kitchen. My biscuit came with fries instead of the Adele's potatoes, which I immediately told the person who delivered my food, who happened to be the owner and manager but seemed to be having to work the host stand and food runner position simultaneously. He said they were sweet potato fries (incorrect) and that's what it comes with (incorrect), and when I corrected him he said he would check but never came back. I was never offered an option to choose a different side and certainly was not told ahead of time or even as the food was delivered that they were out of the Adele's potatoes. Coincidentally, the table next to us on the back patio had a similar situation where their young daughter did not receive French fries, and while their server was more competent in that she asked if there was another side she could offer, they were unhappy that they were not informed ahead of time that fries would not be available. Many items on the menu not being available on a popular holiday is not a good look, and when that man spoke to the other manager and owner, he did not seem particularly satisfied with the response. Meanwhile, we were incredibly hungry but only ate about half of our food because it was so dissatisfactory, and we were waiting for our waitress who never showed back up during our meal when we would have been able to broach our concerns with her, nor for the next 30-40 minutes after we finished eating. The other table saw their waitress 4-5 times during this period. We finally asked to see the manager as we did not want to wait to see how long it would take to see our waitress again. She ran out with the check and we told her we were waiting to speak with the manager. He came over and my boyfriend brought up all of the concerns I mentioned above, as well as the fact that he never returned when I asked him about the mistake made with my meal, and the issue of mold on our tablecloth and hearing constant frantic shouts from the kitchen during our meal. The manager/owner did not apologize nor wait to hear my boyfriend calmly lay out his concerns. He offered to comp half of our meal, but after my boyfriend said that he did not enjoy a single aspect of the meal or experience, he said he would take care of the whole thing and walked away. In my opinion, the issues here begin at the top, from being understaffed, underprepared, incapable of delivering the service that is promised, and not being open to genuine feedback that needs to be addressed to generate the business that they are hoping for. We saw our waitress once when she took our order and once when she brought the check. That is unacceptable and we will not be returning. From what we overhead among staff and other customers, there seems to be an issue of i
