TGI FRIDAYS - Concord (NC)

I was seated promptly at a nicely decorated table, but it took nearly an hour for my food to arrive. The waitress only came to my table twice during the entire meal.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but our experience at this restaurant was absolutely awful. The bar area was dirty, with dirty napkins and orange garnish on the floor the entire time we were there. The food was terrible and the service was slow, with our server constantly apologizing for mistakes from the kitchen and overcooked steaks. Other tables around us were done eating before our kids' meals even arrived, and they were visibly upset. I felt sorry for our server, who had to call over the manager to apologize for the poor food quality and explain that the kitchen was understaffed. Despite their attempts to make things right by comping a wrong appetizer and discounting our steaks, it was still a disappointing and unpleasant visit overall.

The tables were dirty and the AC ducts were leaking. The advertisements were misleading about the appetizers. The food was quite expensive for the portion sizes, such as three small chicken cutlets (the size of a half dollar) with mashed potatoes for $15.
