Love the buffet they serve on Sunday mornings. I'm from Los Angeles where there are a lot of good Mexican restaurants. I've had a harder time finding the same caliber of Mexican cuisine in the Bay Area. I stumbled upon this place when the diner I had intended to breakfast was too busy. I've come back to Los Cachanillas ever since. The food is seasoned to my taste, but some may find it salty.
This place is the best tasting Mexican food in the Concord area, hands down. I usually about carne asada from places because it's usually a cop out, but after the recommendation from the cashier, I have it a whirl. So glad that I did. The meat was juicy and tender. Well seasoned. Was wonderful. Definitely craving it now as I write this.
They didn't melt the cheese as that proved to be disasterous for my burrito. I also noticed that the cashier was sick and didn't understand the concepts of personal hygiene. She coughed in her hands, and openly in the air. Very disgusting
I've tried over 100 taquerias, and for the tacos this place is a go!
