Chocolatier Barrucand - Concord

This is a lovely little shop. They have a great variety of pastries, chocolates and baked goods.

I've seen this bakery several times as we drove thru downtown. Today, we decided to try it. The desserts were great! Tried the Opera cake for the 1st time. It was delicious. Got a couple of very yummy cheese cakes! I love it when everything is placed in a box like a little treat

My daughter loves the wide variety of macarons they offer. We also tried some of the other small bites they have.

It's unfortunate that the customer service at this establishment is severely lacking. The business could really thrive if they employed staff who were both professional and courteous. A little kindness can make a huge difference. I'm truly disappointed to say that this experience has tarnished my view of this shop, and I can't see myself coming back.

I visited this charming bakery in Concord today. While the selection wasn't extensive, the items they did have looked delightful. My friend picked up several treats and mentioned that they were fantastic. Unfortunately, they didn’t have what I was searching for.
