The whole thing went through the terrible rude staff on the hill. The place is always packed on a sunny holiday day, and everyone expects to wait for a table at noon. But this crew is now just going to take the money without trying to customer service. In the last few weeks we were standing on a table twice. If we were directed from one employee to a table to be blown by another and told how it needed others first to say that you can have it. Yesterday we went too late, stood for half an hour, didn't push, waited just to be recognized... every employee who went by did not make eye contact or say hi. I said hi several times to be ignored... the French woman told me she would say hi 7 times without answer. In the meantime, I watched the people who walk on tables and sit on their own and are thrown away. All that is necessary is a simple “Hello, we are busy, we will put you as soon as possible.” The men who work there are all stressed and refuse to make eye contact, and the new patron is rude beyond exception. A nice lady tried to do her best to put people in order to explain her challenge, finally found us a table, but then forget it... no table cleaned... no water... terrible service. Eating is okay, but that's it, we're done with the Bachais and we're not going to go back on a quiet March weekend if they could appreciate the seasonal customers. Go down to the other restaurants on the Combloux slopes and find the people who know how to serve skiers... what a shame to ruin a previously beautiful restaurant.
A good place to stop coffee or lunch. Friendly staff. Fantastic view. Good food at good prices. If you are usually very busy, come early or late for lunch.
I'm honest. I'll skip this place for lunch. Not sure why. Today we had drinks and crepes at 4 o'clock and the overall experience was great. Good service, beautiful mont blanc beer, sun, more sun and good crepes. Will come back
Stopped here for lunch on a really beautiful day. It was difficult getting a table on the terrace but we managed to fit 5 of us in perfectly well. The service was incredibly friendly and the food was excellent. The cost of the food was...much lower than we were expecting. We were very happy about this as many restaurants in the area are very expensive.
Very good restaurant, very good value for money for an altitude restaurant.Personal friendly. Black point: waiting for ordering and to be served.
