Alex's Place Garden Restaurant - Colva

The food at Alex's place is delicious and served in generous portions. You can relax on a sun bed while the staff comes to take your order. Definitely worth a visit for lunch.

We stayed in Benaulim but the beach was too busy there so we hired a scooter and ventured out. Found Alex's shack by chance and returned there every day. Really friendly place, fairly quiet, fantastic food(we had jumbo prawns most days) , excellent service(Sanjay was especially attentive ). Well worth a visit. I also loved scootering through the villages.

This beachside restaurant, styled like a hut, has some stained tablecloths but the food is excellent and at a very affordable price. The server offers a variety of fish, crabs, and prawns, and we make our choice. The cuisine is outstanding with delicious sauces. The drinks are also very reasonably priced.

During my recent trips to Goa in the seasons of 2016/2017, I visited Gonsua Beach on multiple occasions. I was delighted to see familiar faces in the Shack, along with some new additions. The staff was welcoming and made sure that my beach experience was enjoyable. The food never disappoints, with dishes like satay chicken, chilli chicken, chicken 65, golden fried prawns, and amazing naan bread. The seafood options such as fish, crab, and lobster were also exceptional. Dining on the beach, both inside the shack and outside, always made for a pleasant evening. I particularly enjoyed watching the sunset with a cold beer in hand. Special thanks to Livia, the owner, and the staff for making my visits memorable. In my opinion, this place offers the best food and comfortable sunbeds on the beach.
