Her tone and attitude were completely unwarranted, especially since I remained courteous throughout. I spoke with a manager, but my concerns still feel unresolved. I'm exhausted from encountering rude fast food staff. Working there is a choice, and as a customer, I shouldn’t have to leave feeling this way. While I haven't had negative experiences at this location before, I will definitely choose not to return.
My grandkids were looking forward to a much-anticipated treat today but ended up feeling quite disappointed. When they asked about the available flavors, they were told it was chocolate and strawberry. They chose chocolate and were excited, but unfortunately, they described it as the most disgusting thing they had ever tasted. They said it tasted like an awful, earthberry-flavored chocolate fudge. I was surprised when they decided to throw it away without trying it again. It was such a letdown, and they mentioned that they would never want to get ice cream from this Wendy's again.
Moving on, when they handed me my food, my order was incorrect. I told the guy I received a cheeseburger instead of a double stack. He asked me to pull up because they would make me another one. Ten minutes later, an employee came out and asked what I was waiting for. So, during all that time, no one knew what was going on? I explained about the cheeseburger, and she questioned if I was sure since she made all the burgers for my order. I showed her the burger, and without a word, she went back inside. Shortly after, she returned with a container meant for cheese fries, but it only had a single patty in it. She didn’t even think to make another burger. You might wonder why I rated this 4 stars despite everything that happened. Here's why: I called the restaurant since I couldn’t go in to speak with a manager. I asked if she could come out, and she agreed. When she arrived, I explained what had happened, and she asked if I wanted her to personally make me another burger. I said that would be fine. Additionally, I mentioned that my food had gotten cold, and she offered to get me another burger, fries, and nuggets. I accepted, and she returned with a bag, telling us to come back or to ask for her specifically if we did. I expressed my appreciation for her service. When I opened the bag, I found that she had replaced my burger and included extra orders of nuggets and fries, all hot. Though she didn’t give her name, she was fantastic and went above and beyond—definitely unexpected!
Once we finally got our food, we couldn't find a clean table, so we settled for the least dirty one. While eating, we noticed food smeared on the walls and dirty windows. There was a mop and bucket left by the drink area, and in front of the bathrooms, a broom, caution sign for wet floors, and dustpan were scattered about. It was lunchtime, and chairs were up on tables, while there was water on the floor that hadn't been cleaned, accompanied by caution signs placed awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant. The ketchup was also empty. After that unpleasant experience, all I wanted to do was get back in my car. I sincerely hope that this restaurant improves its maintenance in the future and that Kawanda is no longer working there.
Just got back to work and was able to open my order.. the fries are good but this isn't what I ordered at all. Got a plain chicken sandwich with literally nothing on it but ordered the new hot honey chicken sandwich
