Super slow service. we were there 45 minutes before our waitress took our order. the appetizer was best part of the meal.... looked at an hour to arrive, but the sushi afteros were great. the consecrated impressions not. bulgogi noodles were good, but in any case food truck vibe gave. sea bass special was not good. we thought the sauce salty and ravioli very strong in the cheese flavor and not very good with the fish. we had hoped to find a visit near our house, but we don't see each other soon.
We are native and believe in the support of local businesses. we have dined several times at black forest bistro, with the hopes that our experience would improve. our challenge is that they pay a much more than they pay for bad food quality in a dirty, limited restaurant. we ordered a “Starter” model board of our latest reservation. it wasn't cheap at $30. what we received was unfortunately laughing. we have been served a selection of cheeses that would get them at a king soopers (not the deli section), including a power-like cut cheese that they put on a sandwich. to deteriorate the dinge, the cheese was apparently omitted too long and was greasy and crusty. we were also a basket of brot, the stale naan brot, ritz cracker, costco multigrain cracker and tortilla chips. Tortilla chips... not sure what we should do with them. unnecessary to say we could have stayed at home and put together a better charcuterie board through rummaging through our cabinet and refrigerator. the smoked old fashions on the menu admitted they use makers brand bourbon and are also not cheap. I saw how the bartender makes several with an alcohol from a clear, unnoticed bottle. definitiw no distinctive makers brand bottle that is surprising as costco has a good deal on this bourbon and we know that they get cracker from there. we are surprised by the positive reviews. we sincerely hope that they will improve as they are so close to where we live in black forest. there are clearly better options to dinate for just a little further running gear (interquest or powers) that have much, much better eating and a better experience.
