Schlotzsky's - College Station

I understand that mistakes can happen; I've worked in food service myself. But the way the manager handled the situation was truly appalling. When I opened my order and realized it wasn't gluten-free, I politely asked for a new sandwich. Instead of addressing my concern, she told me that she wouldn't help me because she didn't like my attitude. I then requested to speak with a manager, and she claimed that she was the manager. She refused to provide me with her name, but I recall she was a short, heavyset Hispanic woman wearing a purple shirt. This whole experience was absurd, and I have no intention of returning to this restaurant again.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is consistently fresh, and I absolutely love the salads and sandwiches. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Shanel (or Chanel), who was very welcoming—sorry if I got the spelling wrong! The place is always so clean, which I really appreciate. I will definitely be returning. By the way, I lived in Austin when the first Schlotzsky's opened, and the food is still amazing!

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a small fried sandwich and unsweetened iced tea. Ten minutes later, when I opened the bag, I found a really delicious ham sandwich instead. This happened the second time I visited, and it occurred the same way last time. I can't help but wonder if they'll actually make me a fried sandwich if I order a ham sandwich next time. I'm not sure if I'll give it another try since I do enjoy bratwurst sandwiches.
