Juanita's Tex Mex Cantina

The salsa was kind of weird- was thick and tasteless. the queso was also super thick and tasted like only half melted Velveeta cheese. the real escape was delicious and the steak was great. my advice. jump over the chips and dives and simply get them the escape.

Eating was good, but really sharp – and expensive! we sat in the back part of the room at a really cramped table at the window and Christmas tree (restaurant was almost empty). it was cold and my older friend was freezing through the meal. it uses a walker and the ramp to get to the door was far down the way, it was exhausted after the walk.

Disappoint. Eating was not very impressive and incomprehensible overall. they can eat a better at one of the other Tex-Mex or Mexican place in the city and it is likely also cheaper.

Experience was great. the timing was good and eating was hot.

The menu is interesting with options that look really good. My issue is that everything we ate from the chips and sauna, queso, ground beef enchiladas, refried beans were extremely spicy! I realize spice is subjective to the eater, but I typically enjoy ‘hotter’ foods than most. Everyone at my table said the same. Fajita chicken was the only dish edible, the other plates were way too spicy!! I ate here once before and it was NOT this spicy, so not sure what has happened!
