The Golden Rooster - Colborne

The Golden Rooster had amazing authentic Thai food. Service was amazing. Always friendly. The owners are now retiring to Thailand. :(

The restaurant is located in a historic building and has been in business for quite some time. It's surprising that it remains open. Upon entering, there is a musty smell. While the prices are reasonable, the food is extremely disappointing. I ordered eggs benedict for breakfast and found it so repulsive that I could not even finish it.

The Thai food at this restaurant is fantastic. I didn't try any of the Italian specials, but the service was wonderful. The charming old house has a lot of character. I would definitely recommend it.

Super lunch of Thai shrimp rolls & Won Ton Soup, but the proprietors have sold the house and will be gone by the end of July. We shall miss them.

This place is consistently outstanding! We've never had a bad meal! Everything is delicious every time! Run by a Thai couple for many years, the food is PERFECTION!!! We have a getaway farm in the area and typically order Take Out from The Golden Rooster...More
