Dave's Cafe - Cloudcroft

We had a grilled chicken sandwich 7.50) blt 8.95) we had expected to pay $16.45 to control. the food was good. the young man was very dishonest at the presentation of the pages, which come with their sandwiches we chose from the options he offered. when he presented the jack, it was $24.90 tax. when I killed the raise by $8.45, he said I'm sorry, but they ordered the more expensive side he didn't know it, but I reduced his tipp drastically. we never come again.

Was on a weekend get away in Cloudcroft NM from Phoenix. After much consideration we ended up choosing to try Dave's Cafe and I can say we were not disappointed. We were a party of 5 adults and a child and we all found different options to try. We tried 2 Bacon Cheeseburger, Open faced chili burger, and 2 patty melts. For the appetizers we tried the chili cheese fries, chili cheese tots, fried mushrooms, and fried zucchini. All the food was amazing and definitely worth the visit. We also got 3 Roy Rogers(which was the best I have had anywhere) and 2 Rootbeers. The reason i didn't leave a five star is because one in the party got sick afterward might or might not be because of the food. I apologize in advance for not providing all the fotos.

Burnt chicken strips, order was wrong. Drove 16 miles to get this food. Called Dave's and Chris answered. When I told him what was wrong and asked him if this is how they do business. He explained to me have I ever heard of a mistake. I responded yes. And asked him if they checked the food before they sent it out to go with customer. Very disappointing I'm the quality of food and the lack of professionalism from Chris. He did not even offer to make it right.

Best green chili cheeseburger paired with a nice Gooseland wheat ale. Family friendly place with exceptional customer service. Prices are good. Location is great.

We called ahead of time to see until when they're open, and were told 8PM.When we got there at about 6:45, we were told they were closed due to low traffic, which would've been perfectly understandable if the person at the register wasn't so rude about it.I can't comment about the food as we decided to not come back, but i will say that we were excited to try this place out and were taken back by the customer service.
