Ekstrom's Stage Station - Clinton

Our other bus tour stopped here for lunch. They prepared us a buffet that was excellent. Everything was homemade. The two dessert salads reminded me of my mother. 50 people sat and had a delicious meal efficiently and without a clink.

What a great bit to eat from the way! The food was excellent and our waitress was fast, efficient and sweet. We enjoyed dinner here very much!!

Two breakfasts ordered and not very good. Dry biscuits, sub par gravy, disappointing beef. Did not receive everything the menu said came with the meal. The food was cold and waited for cutlery. The atmosphere on the deck was beautiful.

Such a hidden gem off of I 90. Love the country feel and hospitality. Amazing huckleberry pancakes! Our waitress even gave our daughters some oatmeal to feed their goat behind the school house! Can?t wait to come back on our next adventure!

Ordered the $30 special meal: prime rib, medium rare. It arrived, dry as cardboard and solid brown throughout. Reminded waitress that I ordered medium-rare. She replied, ?we?re not able to do it that (medium rare) way, that?s all we have.? Guy sitting next to us whispers that?s not right, because he got it medium yesterday and it was fine. Restaurant wouldn?t take it back. So I ended up with a $30 piece of leather for dinner. The frozen vegetable medley they served alongside it, was the highlight. Cherry on top was the 4% surcharge for using a credit card.
