Bunkhouse Barbeque - Clifton

The food at this restaurant is so delicious! Its taste, texture, looks, yummmmmmmmmmmmmy, so good! This place has a family feel to it. Its style is traditional and not overdone. I could sleep here. The staff is so personable, nice, and they have a sense of humor, the good kind of humor. if there is a problem they will address it right away.

Best BBQ out there! Absolutely loved their brisket and BBQ sauce! I’ve had it 3 times already and never disappoints, will definitely be back : also the corn nuggets are a must try, sooo good!

WOW!! Talk about GREAT bbq! I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed bbq as much as I have at Bunkhouse! Their brisket is so tender and full of flavor! Had it with a side of baked potato that was delicious! Finished with a side of Rick’s cheesecake for dessert….literally the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!!! You HAVE to check our bunkhouse if you’re ever close to Clifton!

We visited the area and stopped for dinner. The food was delicious and Shawn was very helpful and made sure that our great order was always right after performing. Some of our favorites were maize nuggets, brisket, roasted okra and sausage. This was the first time that our children Texas BBQ and not disappointed!!

New to the area, by NC. I love Texas BBQ, much different from Old NC BBQ. Delicious, safe! Pulled pork sandwich wonderful and damp. Brisket is smokey and full of taste. Sweet tea, yes, at home. Corn Nuggets lovely, with honey bbq Dip.
