Clearwater Dairy Queen

Always a wonderful stop for hot eats and cool treats. Friendly staff, clean store, and decent prices. Fresh and tasty. Only strange thing was hearing the drive thru orders on a speaker even though everyone was wearing headsets.

Honestly, we do not enjoy doing fast food often. But, after a horrible experience at a local pub in Clearwater we had no choice on our last day, as we did not want to have extra food when travelling. The staff practiced social distancing, the lines were clearly marked and the food was edible and did not leave a bad taste in our mouths.

Great Staff and tasty made to order treats! Nice to be able to sit outdoors to enjoy a sunny day. Seemed a little short staffed.

I ordered a dipped cone. When the server went to get it, the machine popped and exploded ice cream everywhere. She was covered on her arms and even her headset. She tried to get the thing working but had no luck. She went to clean up and ask another person to see if they could figure it out. She did, and I had the cone be it 10 minutes later with an apology. It happens.

This place is clean. The staff is friendly. And the food is up to DQ standards. Sometimes though, they make me split my order in half when it's too big, something to do with the age of their till they say. Kind of unique I'd say. Great place otherwise!
