The young lady at the window was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. She spoke clearly and with patience to my partially deaf father. He was able to have a conversation with her about her work. Special shout-out to the girl with short dark hair and glasses - whenever she is working, she goes above and beyond to make your day better.
This restaurant is located on a hill and I understand that times are tough, but it was disappointing to be charged 25 cents for a cup for my ice cream cone when the cup was already provided by a coworker. The manager then insisted we pay for it, which was off-putting and showed a lack of customer service skills. The staff also showed little interest in helping my children practice placing an order on their own. The lack of acknowledgment from the person at the register was frustrating. Hopefully, businesses in Clayton will evolve with the growing community to remain successful.
I placed an order using the app and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. The order was indeed ready on time, but I was disappointed by the lack of warmth from the staff member who took my order. They did not greet me or apologize for the wait. When I mentioned I had placed an online order and wanted to pick it up, they simply grabbed it without a word. When I asked for a pup cup, they informed me it would cost $2.12, which I found rude as I had never been charged for one before. Despite this, I paid for it as I had promised my pet. The staff also did not turn our blizzards upside down as they usually do to show their thickness. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future and will choose Wendy's, McDonald's, or Cold Stone instead, as this was not my first negative experience here.
Rude customer service in window. young female was literally unrespectful as if she was annoyed to say my mother that dq has no wet whales for her sunflower. I do not make rudeness especially in customer service.
EVERYTHING was bad, including the blizzard! I don't think it had anything to do with the cook, but with the quality of the food. Tasted like old plastic.
