The Wonder Steakhouse - Clarksburg

Everything that should be a culinary experience. Beautiful atmosphere and an absolutely wonderful waitress. Amanda or AT, as she said she was called, was just so pleasant. She had perfect timing and we didn't feel too fast. A star server! As far as food is concerned, everything was on the point. I had a fabulous martini and the bread basket with the warm garlic leaf was a welcome start. We had the red pepper for a starter and it was so good. The house salad with house Italian was the freshest salad I ever had, and the dressing was from this world. We both had the ribeye and it was melt in your mouth perfection. We asked to season on the side they liked to do, and it was just a perfect steak. Also the baked potatoes and spicy zucchini and squash were fantastic. A nice meal. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much.

All steaks are aged. The ribeye was really good, but the cheesy scalloped potatoes were excellent. You should stop here if you have the chance. Great atmosphere and views. This is the kind of place to relax and enjoy, so do not come in the rush.

One of the best restaurants I visited in a very long time! It is great to celebrate the great occasions in life! Their steaks are always perfectly cooked, and the peeled potatoes are also wonderful! The desserts are simply charming, highly recommended for a higher end dining experience!

This was my first time in Wonder Bar. I brought my fiancée and it was her first time. I had her first-class rib dinner with baked potato with cheese. That was the best basic nativity I had. My fiancée had her crabcake and she said they were very good. Amanda was our waitress and she was wonderful. She made us welcome, was very friendly and everything we ordered was accurate. We will return not only because of the wonderful quality of food and the great atmosphere, but because the staff was amazing.

The only reason I gave this place a star is because there wasn't a zero option. We went for my daughter's birthday and the meal was so subpar that I felt horrible for my daughter. She looks forward to getting the spicy squash and zucchini and I'm not sure what happened tonight but what they gave her was not the usual spicy squash and zucchini. It was a melange of undercooked vegetables swimming in some sort of broth instead of being sautéed. It was disgusting. We both had prime rib and while prime rib has fat, I'd have to say both our cuts were at least 25% fat. She had a Caesar salad that had next to no dressing. I had a house salad and about every fourth bite had a tiny sprinkle of dressing on it. Very tasteless and bland. I ordered shoestring fries with my steak, and I had some high expectations considering the meal pricing, but what I received was McDonalds fries that were cold. It was just such a disappointing meal. We had hoped that since we were at a nice restaurant and not Cracker Barrel, we could enjoy a nice leisurely dinner, but all of our courses came out so quickly, it felt like the bum's rush. The only saving Grace was our server. James was very nice and did his job very well. He was attentive without being overbearing which is more than I could say for the hovering owners. I just can't give this place another chance. It was that bad. I expected so much more for the price.
