Schoolhouse Tavern - Claridge

Absolutely amazing little restaurant. can not recommend enough! I had the Italian hoagie and it was one of the best! cannot wait to go back!

Great spot with ice cold beers and great food. We had the calamari which came out super crispy with two very different dipping sauces. The calamari also had jalapeños mixed in which added to the flavor nicely. Steak salad was filling and the steak came out perfectly. Big spot with different bars and dining rooms. Looks like they also had space for events and an outside bar. Will stop back in for some weekend fun.

My fiancé had her bridal shower here. The banquet room was cozy and the food was good. The waitstaff worked hard to keep all of us well fed and watered.

Friday fish fry was so busy on our first visit to schoolhouse and the hostess was so good and kind! We got a table dispute not having a reservation and had some of the best fish in the area! Great wait staff was running her butt off and just as great as could be! I almost don’t want to recommend them Koz they’re already so busy but they are excellent!

The food was good, just some issues. One with either soda and tonic was messed up in the tap. Chicken salad with fries...fries on the side in a dish (not in Pittsburgh) and ordered sweet potatoe fries but got regular fries. Not a normal night that we are use to.
