Casa Cecco - CIVITELLA IN VAL DI CHIANA

After our GPS routed us through the backwoods, Casa Cecco was a welcome sight! We arrived for dinner without reservations. Fortunately, they were able to seat our group of four with no issues. The steaks and homemade sausage were delicious. Salads were fine. The panna cotta was delectable and topped with fruit. This was a wonderful restaurant for dinner.

I've always been skeptical about Tuscan meat, but here we are really at the top. a marinated frog 55gg, cooked very well in the grill, tiled to the right point. really very romantic place and nice service.

Went here on a business trip as our local host took us there. Place is 5/5 rustic and cozy villa on the hill side. I guess that very romantic place for dinner. Food was superb and we got served with varied local traditional dishes. Pricing was about average what I was able to see from the menu but quality was over the top on food. Go here to have nice Italian food experience.

Great place. Vey typical of Tuscany. Nice decoration great staff. Food was very good, and the wine list is phenomenal. The location of this place is so great you will want to buy it.

We stayed in this restaurant during a trip to Tuscany. We chose it for excellent tripadvisor reviews. the lunch was superlative: Tuscan mixed crostini, tartare of chianina, tagliatelle with cianina ragù, onions of tropea cooked. very nice location, recommended to book because very popular. friendly and courteous staff. absolutely recommended!
