Warm welcome, good hot coffee, delicious biscuits and a very very clean toilet area! It was hot and as elderly cruise passengers we were tired. This charming modern place with friendly staff delivered just what we needed. A good simple place in which to sit and enjoy the service and products. And a very short stroll from the Old Town and from the Cruis Port Drop Off Point.

A quiet and comfortable position. inside and outside seats. we ordered a few fruit smoothes. they were delicious. wifi was suggested by signs as available, but no password was published. I didn't ask a password. we had barely lte at this place. the people and the staff seemed nice. we spent about an hour here. we first sat inside for the A/C then outside because no internet access. I had internet outside, but my wife didn't. outside also meant our smoothies with other smoking around us, which is usually disgusting because the ashes and/or smoke settles on everything. Unfortunately in Italy, smoking seems to be a big thing for the locals, no matter where they go, so I decided to go for the inner. there are many food and drink options, although the signs are distributed inside and outside, so it was a small challenge to compose our order and place our order. I would probably go back, but would ask for Wifi password and sit inside.

Found Caffe Dei Portici while wandering around the centre of Civitavecchia on a shore trip from our ship. I got us a table at the outside seating area while my husband ordered coffees and cake. The americanos and cake were delicious but we went back in for some ice-creams,tiramisu for me and coconut for him which were also lovely. There is free wifi for customers and the password comes on the bottom of your receipt once you've paid. Lovely place to enjoy a coffee,cake,ice-cream or some food while people watching,recommend
