Villa Leonor At Ballena Beach Club

I had a good meal tonight. I damped the snapper in banana leaves on the bbq and it was delicious. Really great place to order and then go and see the sunset from the beach. I would definitely recommend it for this reason and large Costa Rican foods.

On Sunday with friends stopped for lunch and we all had the ribs that were amazing. I show a double order on the photo, but you should just try this if you are really hungry locals refer to this place as Cliff's. You have to eat here, but be cash. No credit cards are accepted here...

Excellent! Gracias to Claude, our bartender server. We stopped because we wanted to walk the beach (Playa Arco), and Claude made us feel at home. Eating, drinking atmosphere were all great....freshest tuna we had in CR!

Nice beach, the restaurant is supercute with a swim up bar, although no one was using this so maybe it wasn't available. We had a whole fish, grilled. Nice people. They do not take credit card so bring cash. They do take US$ Update: March 6, 2022. Went for the weekend lobster BBQ. The pool was open. Lots of people here. The staff is so friendly.

Amazing! Great location, best tuna and fabulous service. A week in CR and we have not had a bad meal yet, but this is our favorite! Go for lunch, look for the monkeys and head to the beach stunning!!!
